Guru Randhawa Delhi concert
Guru Randhawa is heading back to the stage and he’s starting with his biggest show yet. The singer announced The Sirra Era Live in Concert his first-ever solo stadium show set for December 12, 2026 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi.
The announcement ends a three-year gap from live touring. It also marks his first major concert in the capital since 2023 and arrives as he completes 13 years in the music industry.
A Homecoming
Randhawa shared the news on Instagram with a note addressed “To My Day Ones.” He kept the opening line simple: “Your boy is coming home. See you at the stadiums.”
He looked back on his earlier touring years too, recalling arenas “surrounded by a sea of happy hearts.” Then he turned personal, describing what the break actually meant for him.
“I stepped away with the intention to rebuild myself,” he wrote, “and in the process, I discovered a side to myself I never knew existed.” He closed with a direct promise to fans “I’m going to give you my absolute everything that night.”
The Hits Fans Can Expect
Randhawa built his career on a string of tracks that crossed over well beyond Punjabi music circles. Lahore alone has pulled in more than 640 million views on YouTube and his collaboration with Pitbull on Slowly Slowly passed 100 million.
Expect High Rated Gabru, Suit Suit, Patola and Made In India to feature heavily too, alongside newer material from his recent independent releases. The makers are framing the show as a mix of old favourites and fresh tracks, scaled up for a full stadium production.
Fosho – His Latest Single
Randhawa’s most recent release Fosho meaning “for sure,” dropped on October 6 through T-Series, just over a week before the concert announcement. The track features Gurjit Gill and Ary B built around the confident hookline “Pakki Pakki Gal Aae.”
He described wanting to push the song’s energy further than usual. “With Fosho, we wanted to take the energy literally to the skies,” he said, explaining why the entire music video was shot inside an airplane.
Randhawa also credited his longtime collaborator for the track’s direction. “Working with Bhushan Sir has always been a great creative experience,” he said, adding that they aimed for something that felt “fresh, larger-than-life” and would connect instantly with listeners.
Who’s Behind the Show
Saregama Live is producing the concert working alongside Rhythms and Warner Music India. The event is being framed as a next-generation live experience with a production scale to match a solo stadium debut.
Delhi’s JLN Stadium is having a big Punjabi music season overall. Diljit Dosanjh opens his own Aura India tour at the same venue on November 1, just six weeks before Randhawa takes the stage.
Addressing the Criticism Behind Him
Randhawa’s comeback follows a rough stretch for his recent music. His August 2026 single Fine Shyt drew sharp backlash online with critics calling out its music video and lyrics as misogynistic.
He responded directly at the time, calling the phrase “a silly little slang” and telling critics to “calm down fam.” He also owned the song’s catchiness, admitting he was “guilty as charged of making songs that repeat in your head forever.”
A separate 2025 track – Azul faced its own controversy with critics raising concerns over how its content and themes were portrayed. In his concert announcement Guru Randhawa referenced “targeted campaigns” he believes tried to undermine his 2026 releases without naming anyone specifically.
Why This Show Matters
For an artist who’s weathered real criticism this year a sold-out-scale homecoming show carries extra weight. It’s both a celebration of 13 years in the industry and Guru Randhawa’s own framing a reset after a genuinely difficult stretch.
Fans who’ve followed him since his early Bollywood composing work through Hindi Medium and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety to his independent chart-toppers now get one night that captures that entire arc.
Guru Randhawa’s Delhi concert brings together three years of silence, a career’s worth of hits, and a fresh start in one stadium night. Will you be at JLN Stadium on December 12?
