Tu Hai Meri Kiran Sonakshi Sinha, Zaheer Iqbal Team Up for Intense Romantic Thriller First Look Out!
Mumbai, October 1 – Real-life couple Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are set to trade their real-life romance for a dark, psychological thrill. The duo officially unveiled the first-look poster for their upcoming movie, Tu Hai Meri Kiran, marking their first joint cinematic project since tying the knot in June 2024.
Produced by Echelon Productions, the Karan Rawal directorial is a dark romantic thriller. Audiences can catch it in cinemas on October 23, 2026.
Sonakshi shared the poster herself, pairing it with a line that sets the film’s tone “Where would you draw the line between LOVE and OBSESSION?”
The movie’s promotional poster features an intriguing tagline that reads, “She found a connection, he found an obsession,” hinting at a dark psychological plot.
What We Know About Tu Hai Meri Kiran’s Story
The makers have kept the plot firmly under wraps. However the poster alone signals a story that moves from romance into something far more intense.
Karan Rawal writes and directs the film. Vishal Rana produces it under his banner Echelon Productions.
Why the Title Carries Extra Weight
The film borrows its name from a well-known song tied to the 1993 thriller Darr. In that film Juhi Chawla played Kiran and the song became closely linked to her character over the years.
Choosing that title for a story built around obsession feels deliberate. It hints at the same unsettling territory Darr explored decades ago.
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s Real-Life Love Story
Sinha and Iqbal built their relationship over several years before going public with it. They married in June 2024 with Sonakshi’s father, Shatrughan Sinha, playing a visible role in the celebrations.
This is not their first time working together. In fact, the pair previously shared screen space in the movie Double XL. Additionally, they appeared together in the 2022 music video Blockbuster well before their wedding.
Tu Hai Meri Kiran now becomes their first film together as a married couple, and their first full feature pairing since tying the knot.
