What Spider-Man: Brand New Day Is About
Peter Parker is on his own in this chapter. The story picks up several years after No Way Home. The world has forgotten who he is. Even so, he keeps protecting New York City as Spider-Man.
The title comes from a 2008 comic storyline that reset Spider-Man’s status quo. That choice hints at a fresh start for the hero.
Cast and Crew
Destin Daniel Cretton directs, and Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers wrote the script. Michael Giacchino composes the music. Zendaya is back as MJ and Tom Holland carries the story as Peter Parker. Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Florence Pugh and Marisa Tomei also star.
Jon Bernthal plays Frank Castle, also known as the Punisher. Mark Ruffalo returns as Bruce Banner the Hulk.
Release History and Runtime
The film opened in cinemas on 31 July 2026. It runs for 145 minutes, so plan a long evening.
