Koffee With Karan 9: Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra Lead the Farewell Season
The Koffee With Karan Season 9 guest list is taking shape ahead of the show’s October 14 premiere. This marks the ninth and reportedly final chapter of Karan Johar’s celebrity chat show, which first began in 2004.
Ananya Panday and Ananya Birla are set to share the couch together, a pairing the makers are already shooting. Ananya Panday is no stranger to the format. Ananya Birla, though, brings an entirely new dynamic to the final season.
Why This Finale Actually Matters
Koffee With Karan isn’t just another talk show wrapping up. For two decades, it’s been the place where Bollywood’s biggest names let their guard down, sometimes by accident. The rapid-fire round alone has produced some of the industry’s most quoted, most replayed moments, confessions, rivalries and the occasional controversy that outlasted the episode itself.
That history is exactly why this guest list carries extra weight. A final season isn’t just about who shows up, it’s about which relationships, rivalries and reunions the show decides to spend its last moments on. Every name on this list is being read by fans as a kind of closing statement.
Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra’s Expected Appearance
One exclusive report has named Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra as a likely pairing. The claim follows their recent announcement of a second pregnancy. Both have appeared on the show separately before, but a joint appearance as a married couple would be a first for them here.
That matters beyond the novelty. Pregnancy reveals have become their own kind of event on this show, Karan’s couch has hosted several in the past and they tend to generate conversation that outlasts the episode’s actual premiere week. If this pairing happens, it would likely become one of the season’s most shared clips regardless of what else airs.
The Rest of the Reported Lineup
Beyond these two pairings, several other names have surfaced across multiple reports. Reports expect Alia Bhatt to return alongside her sister Shaheen Bhatt marking what would be Shaheen’s debut on the couch a genuinely new dynamic rather than a repeat pairing.
Reports also says Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda for another slot. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan add a veteran couple to the mix, the kind of pairing that tends to anchor an episode with easy practiced chemistry. Separately, Vedang Raina, Sharvari Wagh and Lakshya are expected to share a youth-focused episode, a signal that the final season isn’t leaning entirely on nostalgia. Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor round out the reported guest list.
Unverified Names Still Circulating
A separate, wider list has been floating around online. It names Diljit Dosanjh, Vicky Kaushal, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn. It also includes comedian Samay Raina and the Saiyaara pairing of Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda.
At least one outlet has flagged this broader list as unverified, tracing it to an unconfirmed social media post rather than the production team. Treat that wider list with real caution.
The gap between the confirmed-feeling names and this speculative list is worth watching closely. A finale season thrives on rumor and anticipation almost as much as the actual episodes, and a list this detailed circulating months ahead of premiere looks less like a leak and more like a deliberate slow reveal designed to keep the show in conversation before a single episode airs.
The two Ananyas rest on sturdier ground, since multiple outlets report it independently. The Kiara-Sidharth pairing, and everything beyond it, should still be read as single-source or pure speculation.
When and Where to Watch
Koffee With Karan Season 9 premieres on October 14, 2026. It streams exclusively on JioHotstar. Karan Johar returns as host, and the makers are clearly framing this season as a sentimental send-off for the format.
Two decades of candid conversations sit behind this final season. The guest list already promises a handful of genuine reunions even if not every rumored name pans out. Which pairing are you hoping to see confirmed, the two Ananyas or Kiara and Sidharth?
